Everyone likes a happy ending, yes even Robert Kraft.
Disclaimer, Robert Kraft is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law…Damn lawyers.
But get your mind out of the gutter for a moment and listen to a truly happy ending.
In 1982 I was a freshman in high school.
I played baseball and I was going to be a wrestler.
One day during gym class the gym teacher Bob Lagerman had the class going through basic gymnastics.
Bob came over and talked to me and said I had some natural talent and that I should try out for the gymnastics team.
I told him I wanted to be a wrestler but inside I was thinking I didn’t want to be any pansy ass gymnast.
Little did I know the type of strength training gymnastics was really all about or the mindset it takes to win at gymnastics and life.
But Bob didn’t let up.
He went on to convince me and a handful of other guys who had never done gymnastics before to go out for the gymnastics team.
We were a bunch of misfits and really had no business being in gymnastics but Bob is a great man and an even better coach.
He was such a great coach that he took a bunch of misfits and 4 years later not only did we win the state championship but we made the All American Gymnastics Team.
The happy ending is the difference a coach makes.
Without Bob, we were just athletes but with Bob, we are forever All Americans.
Business is not much different.
