Attract Traffic With Quality Content

Do you want more traffic to your website but don’t know where to start?

Do the people who come to your website leave without you knowing who they are and why they came?

Do you want to increase your sales and increase your website traffic?

I would guess the answer to be yes, but you would be surprised how many people tell me that they have more than enough customers and can barely service the ones they have.

Getting more customers is rarely the issue especially when selling products or services based around great prices.

But selling at a low price is one of the surest ways to go broke.

Instead, you can attract higher paying customers by providing the answers to the questions they have about your products and services.

I’m not talking about a FAQ page I’m talking about providing a well-written solution to their problem, and when I say written, it can be written video or audio.

People care about what is going on in their lives.

Contrary to popular belief they don’t care how many vans you have, how many years you’ve been in business, or how many customers you have served.

They especially don’t care about all of the features and technical specifications of your products and services.

They want to know how you can solve their problem or make their lives better, and the best place to show them how to do that is on your website.

So first you need to figure out what are the biggest challenges and problems faced by your clients and then how your product or service solves those problems.

Write them down.

Create a list as long as you can think of because this is what your clients care about.

These are the problems that they are trying to solve, and your job is to show them that you know how to solve them and that you are the expert they have been seeking.

Create content around each problem and show them how to solve their problems.

When you do this, it will position you as an expert in their eyes.

Not the only expert, but merely the one they know about.

Most people will seek an expert when they purchase, and the ones who shop for a low price are not the clients you want anyway.

Let the price shoppers and tire kickers go to your competition, and you will be far happier for it anyway.

So how do you attract people to your site?

Create a post on your blog, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or whatever social media channel you choose.

In the post layout the problem in as much detail as possible and show them that there is a solution to the problem.

Once complete, you will provide a link back to your website where they can download a white paper or E-Book with the solution to the problem.

They get the free E-Book or white paper in exchange for their name and email address.

This will allow you to know who they are and the solution they are seeking.

By getting their information you then can talk to them on an ongoing basis with more information on solving that problem or making their lives better.

In the white paper or E-Book, you will again layout the problem and then the full solution to the problem.

Make sure you include a call to action at the end of the document, so they know there is the next step if they choose to take it.

Now that you have a way of communicating that you can solve a problem and a method to capture their information create two to three posts every day that drive traffic back to your website with the intent of solving someone’s problem.

It’s never about you; it’s about them.

Too many marketers forget that the people they market to have lives of their own.

They have fears, pains, challenges, health issues, family problems and all of the other items we all face in life.

Showing them that there is a solution to one of those problems is how you get the best clients.

Getting traffic isn’t complicated but don’t waste the traffic that you have.

They say two things in life are constant, death and taxes.

I say there are three.

All the people who visit your website will eventually leave.

If you fail to capture their information while they are there you are likely never to have that chance again.
