7 Steps To Overcoming The Workplace Blues

Another Monday has come and gone and I have to say that I fell into an old pattern.

Even after doing a Sunday night video on those who hate Mondays I didn’t really like the start of yesterday either.

I had the Monday blues.

It’s not something that happens much to me anymore.

If you struggle to stay mentally focused on your goals from time to time it’s normal.

It may even be considered normal to stay that way.

But normal is broke, normal is lacking in achievements, normal is boring.

It took me until about 10:30 AM to get through the Monday blues.

I never used to have them but now I get them when I am doing mundane tasks that have to get done but I absolutely hate doing them on Monday.

In order to get through the workplace blues, you need to seek the root cause.

In my case, it was a small thing.

I was doing tasks that are not normal for me to do on a Monday morning.

But this week my schedule is packed with Easter weekend ahead and my wife and I are taking some time off the following week, my time frame to get everything done and keep the train moving down the track, is very limited.

So I decided to take Monday and Tuesday to take care of loose ends.

If you have ever gone through my free course, The One Week Time Miracle, you know that early in the day and early in the week you get your most important money making activities done and do the mundane later in the afternoon or later in the week.

By doing your most important activities first you are always moving closer to your goals.

So the first thing I had to do was recognize why I had the blues in the first place.

I actually had the blues because I was violating one of my own rules, to get my most important activities done first.

I rearranged my week because of time constraints and my subconscious mind didn’t like it.

If there is one thing that is more in control of your destiny it is your subconscious mind and if you train it right, it will immediately let you know when you are off track.

I didn’t even know it at first.

I was out of bed at 5:00 am and didn’t figure it out what was going on until about 10:30.

Your subconscious mind is in total control of your destiny.

It is impossible to operate in a manner different from the way you see yourself.

Napoleon Hill said it this way, what the mind of a man can conceive, and believe, he can achieve.

This isn’t some nice sounding statement, this is a fact.

If you believe you will fail at something you will fail.

Your subconscious mind gives you what you believe.

If failure is what you believe, providing that for you is a success as far as your subconscious mind is concerned.

If you believe you can achieve the goal you have set out to achieve you will.

But you must believe it.

You can’t have doubt because doubt shows up in your actions and your subconscious mind will call you out.

If you are heading for your goal and in your mind, you know that you will achieve the goal, it’s already done, then if you veer off track even for a moment, your subconscious mind is going to give you a shot across the bow.

That’s exactly what happened to me yesterday morning.

If you find yourself getting the Monday blues a lot than you need to evaluate what your purpose in life is.

What were you made to be doing and get really clear on the end result of what you are seeking? Believe you have it and then go for it.

If you are having a tough time in business or at your job, ask yourself these 7 questions.

  • What do I really want?
  • Why am I struggling with this?
  • Why can’t I do something about it?
  • What beliefs are stopping me from having this?
  • Are these beliefs real or false?
  • What is the number one obstacle standing in my way of achieving this goal?
  • What am I willing to do to get past this obstacle?

Seven highly empowering questions to answer that will actually reveal how you really see yourself.

Don’t just do this in your head take the time to write the answers.

This will be the most empowering activity you do this week because it will show you what you really believe about achieving your goals and dreams.

Take action now.

Ray Edwards says that writing is the doing part of thinking.

I say that creation is the action part of vision.

If you have a vision, only you can take the actions necessary to create the life of your dreams.

But it all starts when you take action.

I wish you massive prosperity.
